Respite Camps and Social Skills Program for Children
                               with
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD)
Day respite camps for children 3—12 years of age with FASD.

Camps run one Saturday each month along with some weekday skill development.

Offered in four locations: Winnipeg, Brandon, Thompson, Little Grand Rapids
The S.O.S MB program is designed to offer children a fun and safe day to learn and practice
social skills, self regulation, fine and large motor skills. Trained staff and a low child to staff
ratio will be key to a successful day. Through the intake process, a plan to support the unique
needs of each child will be developed. Communication and support to families will be
provided.
The program is located at the Brandon Friendship Centre at 303-9th Street, Brandon
Manitoba. Hours: 10:00- 3:00 Campers will attend one Saturday of each month starting
May 15th , 2010. Applications accepted on a ongoing basis.
Children between age 3—12 who are in care or involved with child welfare.

A diagnosis within the FASD spectrum or

Suspected FASD with confirmation of prenatal alcohol exposure.
